Our Creative Team
We get a lot of odd requests because we are located right in the heart of downtown Boulder. If you have ever been to Boulder you know exactly what I mean. It’s filled with an eclectic group of people who flock to the area because of it’s insane location next to the Flatirons and awesome weather. From an Occupy Boulder protester who wants us to make them an eye catching sign, to a new beverage company looking for a whole branding package, we have pretty much been able to satisfy the design needs of any customer. So it should be no shock to you that we have some insanely talented graphic designers on staff.
But, most people are surprised to find out that the same person who designed their child’s Bar Mitzvah invitation also does all of the graphics for Oskar Blues Brewery. We are super proud of our staff and think they deserve a shout out. So here it goes y’all.
Terry Kishiyama:
Terry started at Eight Days a Week 12 years ago. After moving to Colorado from Nebraska in 1999 he got started here creating logos and marketing collateral. Since then he has grown to be one of our biggest assets. To say he keeps this place ticking would be an understatement. You can see some of his original designs on the Bhakti Chai van or next time you pick up an Oskar Blues 6-pack. He’s the vision behind the brand.
Shannon Flynn:
Shannon has been with us for 7 years and we are not sure what we would do without him. He knows more about color builds, layers, and layout than the Adobe engineers themselves. If there is a problem with a file he can explain it in a second. In addition to being our problem solver extraordinaire, his understanding of how to make your collateral look good cannot be surpassed.
Alex Pieper:
After graduating from the University of Colorado in 2008 with a degree in Architecture he joined us and became our resident packing miracle worker. He’s helped our customers come up with awe-inspiring presentations, creating press worthy box packaging and customized signage. He has created installations for Whole Foods, Disney online, and NCAR just to name a few. If our customers want to make an impact, he can design & execute the project.
