Some of our favorite blogs incorporate a weekend round-up, and we wanted to follow suit and bring you our version of this nifty idea. So, we decided we would share some great designs we have had the pleasure to print with the world. We’ll feature our favorite print pieces of the week on Fridays to … Continue reading »

“Ooh, I need your love…
“Ooh, I need your love, babe. Guess you know it’s true. Hope you need my love, babe. Just like I need you. Hold me, love me. Hold me, love me. I ain’t got nothing but love, babe. Eight days a week”.
John Lennon said, “the more I see the less I know for sure”. How right on was that when it comes to your profession? Working in a print shop called Eight Days a Week we pretty much live our lives keeping the Beatles in mind. Like the Beatles, we are a small group of people who have been together honing our skills for a long time. But each and everyday at our little print shop we learn something new. Whether it is that our clients do something we never thought they did, or that the color burnt orange is just the world’s hardest color to replicate, there is always something that we didn’t know the day before.
We know more about digital printing than just about any print shop out there. We try to make things easy when our customers come in with jobs or questions. We know what looks good and what, ehem, doesn’t. Our designers have come up with some of the most famous logo’s in Boulder County. From Oskar Blues to Bhakti Chai and even Crocs we have been able to help brands build their identity from the beginning. We have exceeded expectations for some of our favorite people, printing for Whole Foods, Smartwool, Ball Aerospace, Rally Software, and Clif Bar just to name a few. We love our customers and we like to think that this makes us different.
Many people who come into our store say, “Eight Days a Week, you are only open 5 days out of the week!”. After explaining we used to be a general store open every day of the week and that it is actually a love song by The Beatles most people can’t stop singing the song. This year we celebrated our 35th! There aren’t too many businesses in downtown Boulder that have been around for that long. We want to share our love and ideas with the world wide web because we are pretty sure we have a lot tell everyone and even more to learn from our community. Much like the Beatles sang, “we ain’t got nothin’ but love babe, Eight Days a Week”.
